Welcome to the new home of the Nebraska State Genealogical Society.  A lot of effort has gone into the design and functionality of our new website. As you browse around the site you will notice there are still quite a few items that need to be updated. We are trying to post the most accurate information as possible, but until then, you will continue to view the information as it was displayed on our old site. Please be patient with us as we work through all the updates. We have many exciting features planned for our new home on the world wide web. NESGS has downloaded and installed the open source Gravestone Photo Project software package. This web application will allow us to offer our website users the ability to upload and display tombstone photos taken in any Nebraska cemetery. Open Source means we can customize the software package to suit our needs. There are some features would like to see implemented sometime in the future, but in the mean time, the site up and running using its default settings. All current members of the Nebraska State Genealogical Society have been added to the members database on this site. If you have an e-mail address on file with the membership chairman, you should have received an e-mail with your login information. For those members who don't have an e-mail address or you haven't shared it with the memberhsip chairman, you can still login using any computer connected to the internet . Just use your membership number as your username and your ZIP Code as the password. We highly recommend that you change your password after your initial login.
